The Herrimans are probably America's best shooters. Bill won the overall and the men's division in 2003 and 2004. Nell won the women's division in 2003 and 2004, was 2nd overall in 2003 (with only 2 points out of 600 behind Bill) and 3rd overall in 2004. They use flat bands made of tourniquets - much better than most tubular rubbers! Look into the "slingshots" section to see some of their slingshots. Bill created the Saunders Wrist Rocket Pro together with Saunders, and you will see many parallels to his "Shooting Stars". Look closely how they shoot, I am sure you can learn something from these photos!
Nothing beats a warm, sunny day outside with slingshot!
Note how Bill supports the prongs with his fingers. It is a very good way to hold "classic" slingshots, and I can only recommend you to try it out!
Great shot! (and I mean both the photographer and the shooter:-) The slingshot is the natural enemy of the soda can, and as you can see, the pellet has no problem to exit the can. The picture is real, no Photoshop stuff, but please, if you want to make such a picture, be sure that you know exactly what you are doing!
