The Tinker Manufacturing Company from Lapeer, Michigan produced this slingshot from the mid-50's to the early 70's. The frame is polished cast metal alloy, the bands are live gum rubber, attached with the "matchstick in loop" method. The forks have protruding pieces on the left and right, they could be used to support the forks with thumb and index finger. Transparent tape is machine wound around the bands to hold the leather pouch in place. The Tinker is a powerful hunting slingshot. It was supplied together with an extra band assembly, hunting and practice ammo.
